Food/Household/Hygiene Supplies

Food/Household/Hygiene

Sadly, many Murray families experience food insecurity issues daily, a challenge that our school educators witness firsthand. We understand that numerous families rely heavily on the free/reduced school lunch and breakfast programs to help supplement the cost of feeding their children. This critical gap, if left unfilled, can profoundly impact a student's ability to concentrate and excel academically, as well as thrive physically and emotionally.

To address this, Murray schools and MEF have historically partnered with organizations like USANA’s Kids Eat program, Utah Food Bank, Smith’s Grocery Store, and other individuals and local businesses.

MEF is always welcoming of support from our partners and individuals in the community who have the means to provide our schools with food and household supplies that can be allocated to families in need. This campaign is on-going throughout the year.

If you, your business, or community organization would like to organize an effort to collect food and household items for our schools, please contact Doug Perry at dperry@murrayschools.org.
