The Murray Education Foundation Charity Pickleball Tournament is a lively, community-focused sporting event dedicated to raising funds for local students and classrooms. This round-robin doubles competition offers divisions for Mixed, Men's, and Women's teams across Beginning and Intermediate skill levels, guaranteeing multiple games of friendly competition for all participants. Since 2004, the Murray community has been invited annually to nominate seven exceptional individuals—specifically five Outstanding Certified Educators (including teachers, administrators, and counselors), one Classified Employee (such as secretaries and custodians), and one Volunteer—for their performance and service. The public nomination period runs from the beginning of December through the end of January, with submissions reviewed by a special selection committee; the chosen finalists are then publicly announced in February and celebrated at a special gala in March, where they receive public accolades and recognition, including tributes from their students, colleagues, sponsors, and family. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
