23^rd Annual Pinnacle Award Nominations

Since 2004, the Murray Education Foundation's Pinnacle Awards for Excellence in Education has been the highest community honor bestowed upon Murray City School District educators, volunteers, and employees.

Nominations for our 2026 recognition are NOW OPEN until Friday, January 23 at Midnight. Please consider carefully who you would like to nominate among outstanding Murray educators, volunteers, and employees*. These include:

• Certified Educators (teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers)
• Classified Employees (secretaries, aides, custodians, IT, etc.)
• Administrator* (principal, assistant principal, district directors)
• Volunteers

*Every three years we also open nominations for an administrator (principals, district directors)

These will be reviewed by the MEF Selection Committee the week after nominations close, where they will choose five educators, one classified employee, and one volunteer. Go here to see a list of past recipients. Recipients receive a $1000 cash award, bronze statuette, gift basket, and special dinner in their honor (in March). 

The theme for this year's awards and gala is "Together We're Unlimited" from the movie Wicked. 

Pinnacle Sponsors Needed

Sponsorship/Registration is NOW OPEN until Friday, February 20. The Gala includes an opening social (6:00 pm), dinner in the Murray High School Commons (6:30 pm), entertainment, and presentations to our seven recipients. MEF is a 501c3 non-profit organization. All payments are tax-deductible.

This year's honored recipients will be announced the middle of February.
